Founded in 1955, Care Ring is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing health services for the uninsured, underinsured or those lacking access to affordable, high-quality preventive health care. The organization annually serves more than 7,600 people in Mecklenburg County and is a leader in collaborative efforts to improve community health.

At UNC Charlotte AED, we are proud to support Care Ring NC, we believe in their mission to promote health equity and are dedicated to raising both awareness and support for their impactful work.
Through our fundraising efforts and service initiatives, we engage our members in meaningful opportunities to give back. By supporting Care Ring, we hope to inspire future healthcare professionals to lead with empathy, advocate for underserved communities, and make a difference.
